NetComS: Multi-Partner Network Commissioning Services on the Cloud
The initiative is part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan ‘Greece 2.0’ and is funded by the European Union - NextGenerationEU.
The project redesigns and modernizes the existing CommissionSuite, commission management and calculation software. CommissionSuite software is used to define and manage sales performance policies and calculate rewards, targets and “penalties” for partners in commercial networks of telecommunications companies. It aims to timely inform those commercial staff and management, sales channels and each member as a whole, to the targeted promotion of products and services and the reliable management of financial figures through the configuration of multiple collaboration schemes and procurement rules. It presents the results in visualization interfaces of different categories that are appropriately adapted to the needs of each stakeholder. It is a Sales Performance Management (SPM) software, which automates the processing of compensations (commissions, shares, rewards), reducing processing time, while allowing flexibility and helping to drive the sales strategy to better results.
NetComS project redesigns and transforms the CommissionSuite product a) technologically and b) commercially to make it:
more easily available, more competitive, in a wider market and with more capabilities,
more modern, based on cutting-edge technologies that ensure significant performance, scalability and adaptability advantages,
flexible technically and commercially
- capable of responding to the needs of a wider field of activities, beyond the telecommunications area that it has previously addressed, in new different markets (e.g. energy) but also in emerging multi-partner business schemes within the new 5G/6G, IoT, AI ecosystems
- with new, more analytical visualizations,
- with real-time computing capabilities,
- with reduced requirements for on-premises infrastructure,
- with a new commercial identity, promotional image and more dynamic marketing
- with AI addons in use scenarios that require advanced user experience
Project actions that contribute to the desired transformation of the software towards the new product, include technological interventions for redesigning data architecture, computational processes and visualization to achieve the main features:
- Cloud-native, in a micro-services architecture, for interoperability and scalability
- Real-time ability to monitor indicators and perform calculations
- New modern visualization
- Integration of generative AI interfaces
- Recommendations for Target-Sales Strategy
- Interoperability layer to interconnect with different service networks
The project will complete a marketing plan as well and a set of business networking actions with an international focus which will support the new brand that will be created; the new brand image and the capabilities of the improved product will respond to modern market demands.
